About the
Competition Promoters - Brian & Michelle Jones
Hi, we are Brian and Michelle Jones, we
own this stunning luxury home which has taken us the last
3 years to source and build. We originally built here to live the Tom & Barbara good life,
yet now circumstances mean that we want to move on. We have had lots of friends and family visit,
as well as other expats locally come out to see us. Many times they have brought friends and clients to see what we have managed to do, and always
they say the same words when they walk through the front door….."WOW !
I'd like to own one of these when I win the lottery!" So,
we thought what better way to sell our chalet than by
competition?! We are very excited at the prospect of giving the
lucky winner the chance of a lifetime to own not only an overseas
property in a ski resort, but an original real ski chalet, whether it be
just for holidays or for a life changing move. We decided to make ours a
low-cost competition to ensure that as many people as possible could
afford to enter and be in with a chance to win our lovely house and enjoy
this wonderful lifestyle as much as we have. We also thought it would be a good opportunity
to give a large portion of the money raised to the much needed and well deserving
charity BSAPP
(Bulgarian Society for Animal Protection & Preservation), being one
of the very few organisations in Bulgaria currently looking after the
welfare of stray animals.
We will be very sad to see the chalet go, yet we have
big plans to put all our resources and energy into starting a dog
sanctuary, which needs totally different premises away from neighbours!
During our time in Bulgaria we have inherited 3 street dogs which are now a key part of our
life. We have been keen supporters of BSAPP for a long time now, so deciding to dedicate our future to helping the four legged friends is now a natural transition.
The chalet faces a pine forest and has a river running below the high terrace, a
6 meter frontage of glass guarantees that when you first walk in you are hit with grand, space, light and stunning views. The back of the
chalet actually sits on the last street of the village so we are not too far from village life. Every day we watch as the goats, sheep and cows are taken out to graze and then back again. Neighbours pass and stop for a chat, quite often dropping off a bag of veg they have just harvested from their plot. The house is a really nice mix of seclusion, privacy and stunning nature at the front, whilst at the back, old village life drifts by.
To a winter sports fan this is the dream scenario, an
alpine cabin close to a ski resort. Yet skiing is really only half of it. The summers here are stunning, virtual sunny days throughout and surrounded
on all sides by mountains and forests, the summers here are a sight to behold. With 3 horse riding stables in the village, and unspoilt,
unhindered scenery to explore whether on horseback, mountain bike or even
with one of the many quad tour companies locally (or snowmobiles in winter), you'll
never be short of things to do summer or winter. For the price of two loaves of bread, and with a large portion going to
charity, what have you got to
lose?! As Michelle's Grandmother keeps saying "He who never
tries, never wins a prize!" Good
luck!
